Editor-in-Chief
Editor-in-Chief is the most senior position in Academic Editors. With the assistance from Managing
Editor, Editor-in-Chief leads the journal with the responsibility to:
- Determine scope and direction of the journal.
- Recommend Editorial Board members.
- Provide feedback timely and to launch the journal with editorial team’s assistance.
- Supervise the journal in technique and to improve its scientific content.
- Pre-check and make decision on manuscripts and to ensure quality of publications.
- Decide development strategy of the journal each year.
- Be actively involved in promoting the journal development and public awareness.
Associate Editor
- Review of manuscripts and suggesting suitable reviewers.
- Ensuring that the publication maintains the highest quality while adhering to the publication rules and procedures of the journal.
- Occasionally, solicit articles / interesting work from your colleagues/acquaintances and help.
- Promote the journal at conferences and meetings.
- Submit an Inaugural Article which may have multiple authors, but the Associate Editor must be a corresponding author.
- Suggest and review the special issues as well.
Copy Editor
- Take an active part in the final peer review process.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethics and competence.
- Editing of manuscripts for each issue with respect to scientific writing and layout conventions.
- Changes to enhance the content quality of the journal.
- Systematic evaluation of the review reports , hold vital decision on paper publication.
- No delays in completing the copy editing.
Production Editor
- To provide statistical direction to the journal.
- Validating statistical methodology, trends and results.
- To ensure that the statistical tests used were appropriate, the results are properly interpreted and reported.
- Avoid outdated/invalid methods, even if pre-specified in the protocol.
- Ensure that all copy editing is done properly then send to the publisher for the final production stage.
International Advisory Board
Editorial Board is the think tank of the journal that are constituted by a group of prominent experts
who support the journal with the responsibility to:
- Provide suggestion to the Editor-in-Chief regarding to the scope and direction of the journal.
- Provide technical support and professional advice to promote scientific content of the journal.
- Recommend other experts to join Editorial Board.
- Review certain number of manuscript, especially when reviewers provide conflicting recommendations.
- Make decision on manuscripts, especially when Editor-in-Chief or other Academic Editors have conflicts of interest with authors.
- Be actively involved in discussion and finalization on strategic plan and long-term achievement of the journal with Editor-in-Chief and other Editorial Board members.
- Be actively involved in promoting the journal development and public awareness.
