The IJSS bridges social science communities across disciplines and continents intending to share information and debate with the widest possible audience, and welcomes both applied and theoretical research that pushes the boundaries of current approaches. We cover a wide range of topics including behavioural science, political science, anthropology and religious studies.
Founded by SLOAP in 2018, the International Journal of Social Sciences has become a forum for innovative review, reflection and discussion informed by recent and ongoing international, social science research.
International Journal of Social Sciences Names a New Editor-in-Chief
IJSS is excited to name Dr. Tamar Shiukashvili (Telavi State University) as its newest Editor-in-Chief. Dr. Tamar's interests in social, political, cultural, and legal issues as well as human behaviour, collective action, and social dissent make him a great fit for the editorship of this broad social science journal. To learn more about Dr. Tamar, please see his faculty webpage here.
Current Issue
At IJHS we refer to an online first as an article that has been through the peer-review process, has been accepted for publication and has been copyedited and typeset. The article is the final manuscript format, but is distinguished as an early release simply because it has not been delayed until a full issue publication. When the issue is complete, and an editorial is written, the issue will be archived with its own table of contents. Articles in the journal are freely available to the public thanks to our institutional sponsors.
